Craig Thomas Brown, 50, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016, at his home, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was born on August 16, 1966 in Des Moines, Iowa to Thomas Allen Brown and Donna Rae Jermier.

Craig proudly and selflessly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, as an F-16 Crew Chief, from December 11, 1984 until he retired on September 1, 2005. On August 27, 1987, he married his wife of 29 years, Lynnette McGowan, in Des Moines. After retirement, Craig worked as a Crew Chief for the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. From March 2010 until his passing, Craig was an instructor with the 362d Training Squadron, training future F-16 Crew Chiefs. In his spare time, he served as Vice President of Southwest Iwo Jima/WW II Reunion.

He is survived by his wife, Lynnette Brown; two children, Lindsay Brown and her Fiance’, SSgt Justin Wise, U.S. Air Force and Courtney Pleva and husband SPC Jordan Pleva, U.S. Army; mother, Donna Jermier; two brothers, Brian Brown and wife Robin and Mark Brown and wife Chris; sister, Christine Bagaent and husband Jeff. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Allen Brown; grandparents, Fred and Wilma Priest and George and Mabel Brown; cousin, David Kelly.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Hampton Vaughan at Crestview Funeral Home Chapel with full military honors. Immediately following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Coyote Ranch Resort, Jack Rabbit Hall, until 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southwest Iwo Jima/WW II Reunion through Union Square Credit Union or the local Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
