Survived by her husband of 47 years, Elder James Edward Hunter Jr.; two siblings, Robert Williams and Anita Henry; 10 children: Filica Thompkins, Eric (Sherlesley) Thompkins, James (Shannon) Hunter II, Patrick (Darla) Hunter, Dorian (Charles) Turks, Tracy Hunter, Derrick Hunter, Phillip (Nicoli Turner) Hunter, Amber Hunter, and Marcus Hunter. Preceded in death by her grandchildren: Sejin Hunter and Lydia Stevens; great-granddaughter, JayNah Thompkins; and her nephew, Terrell Williams. She leaves behind 31 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at God Given Church of God in Christ, 1027 - 9th St. N.E., Canton, OH 44704. Saturday, Dec. 17th. Calling hours are from 10 a.m. to Noon, with the funeral immediately following. Entombment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.
