Dollie Laura Bennett, age 99, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 24, 2005, at her home. Born in Quitman on November 18, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Clemee (Johnston) Bennett. Miss Bennett was a lifetime resident of Cleburne County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and flowers. Her religious belief was Baptist. Miss Bennett was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Holly Bennett; and three sisters, Lucy Mae Johnson, Gladys Johnson, and Rita Cooper. She is survived by two sisters, Nellie Kennedy of Quitman and Marcia Turner of North Little Rock; and her niece, Evelyn Hampton. Miss Bennett is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 10:00 a.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Joe Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairbanks Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Weatherford, Dale Johnson, Rayburn Johnson, Doug Johnson, Richard Carlock, and Trent Goff. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
