Dennis was a member of Middleton Memorial United Methodist Church in Wallisville. Dennis loved nature and enjoyed being outdoors. He would volunteer at the National Wildlife Refuge, He enjoyed gardening and riding his bicycle. Dennis loved people and never met a stranger. He enjoyed joking and making people smile. He was compassionate and cared for his fellow man, never wanting anyone to be sad. He didn’t want others to struggle with enjoying the good this in life. If you were struggling to feed your family, he would give you what he could. It might have been the lemons and oranges or even the grapefruit from the trees that surround his family home. If that wasn’t enough he would bring you several buckets of cumcuats, but most of the time a big hug and a smile made everything better. If you met Dennis once, you would never forget him. He left an everlasting mark on your heart. Dennis was loved by all whom crossed his path.
