Rev. John Williams one of our oldeset citizens was buried on Saturday. His funeral service was conducted by Ray Brown of Confluence.

This makes his burial date 23 March 1895, and death possibly 21 or 22 March. Therefore, either the newspaper erred on the day of his burial (Saturday instead of Wednesday); the courthouse records are incorrect; or I transcribed those records incorrectly.
A walk of the cemetery on 11 July 2015 failed to locate John's grave. Obvious signs of broken or missing stones; also many stones worn smooth.
