Richard "Rick" Robinson Terrell, 62, of Norman passed away Tuesday December 13, 2016 at his home. Rick was born July 16, 1954 in Oklahoma City to Martine and Mary Lea (Mackechnie) Terrell.

On January 6, 1984 he married Amanda Joan Corbitt in Norman. Rick proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Tinker Air Force Base for 25 years until his retirement as a sheet metal mechanic. Rick was a Boy Scout leader for many years and was a member of the Tri-City gun club. He loved to ride trains in New Mexico and Colorado as well as vacation in Corpus Christi where he would rent charter boats to fish. Rick also enjoyed going to flea markets and collecting camping and railroad memorabilia as well as tinkering with and riding his motorcycles. Above all he loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of almost 33 years Amanda of Norman; children: William Terrell of Noble and Shawn Terrell of Noble; brother: John (Carolyn) Terrell of Moore; nieces: Rachel Wilson and Rebecca Koehler.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday December 16, 2016 at Primrose Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Norman. The Rev. Harry Smith will officiate.
