Karen Lee Herman, 67, born on July 10, 1949 in Boise ID, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospital in Meridian, ID. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friends to many.
Karen graduated from Capital High School in Boise, ID with the class of 1968. She was united in marriage to Roger Herman, her high school sweetheart. They resided in Nampa, ID until her death. Karen's greatest achievements came at home as a great wife and mother. She couldn't have made her husband, son, and daughter more proud of her. In her "spare time" she enjoyed planting and taking care of her flowers, her Disney movie collection, and spending time with her family. One of Karen's favorite things was having large family BBQs at her house, oh who are we kidding, she loved being able to eat the homemade ice cream off the churning paddle.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roger Wayne Herman; son, Roger Wayne Herman, Jr. and wife, Amy of Billings, MT; daughter, Nicole Herman Neal and her husband, Jess of Kuna, ID; proud grandma of five grandchildren: Bryce, Tanner, Casey, Andrew and Kayla; and her brother, John Aaron of Bonners Ferry, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved twin sister, Kathy Robbins.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Cloverdale Memorial Park located at 1200 N Cloverdale Road in Boise, ID, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Redford officiating. A celebration of life will follow at 12 p.m. at The Riverside Hotel Liberty Room at 2900 Chinden Boulevard in Boise, ID. The Herman Family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a in her name.
