Warner, 90 GREENWOOD - Douglas "Marvin" Warner passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 at the Country Rest Home where he had been residing for the past three years.

He was born Sept. 15, 1926 the son of the late James and Sophia Zott Warner. Marvin was born in Canada and lived there for fifteen years before coming to the United States. He was a plant manager for New Process Fibre Co, where he had worked for 43 years, retiring in 2012. Marvin enjoyed golfing and bowling. He also enjoyed harness racing and was a horse owner, racing in the surrounding area. He had many good qualities, kind, generous, and a dedicated worker are just a few. He was well respected and was loved by all who met him. He was also a loving father and grandfather.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by (2) sisters Charlotte Bracegirdle and Irene Nichols.

Marvin is survived by his two daughters and their spouses Linda and Gary Anderson of Oak Island, NC, and Susan and Tom Baker of Felton; (3) grandchildren Brian Anderson, Kimberly Hill, and Josh Lloyd; (4) great grandchildren Gavin, Ashton, Baylee, and Savannah; a brother Gordon Warner of Seaford; and his ex-wife and very good friend Margaret Warner.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 12 noon, at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St, Greenwood, DE 19950, visitation will be from 11 am to 12 noon. Interment will be held at Todd's Chapel, Greenwood, DE.
