He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Guy Andrews; his mother, Ida Ruth Jackson Andrews; three brothers, Austin “BUG” Johnson, Norwood Andrews and Richard Andrews; and one sister, Georgia Andrews.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Louise Andrews; four children, Stephen M. Andrews, Stephanie M. Andrews, Scott M. Andrews and Sandra M. Andrews; four grandchildren, Alissa A. Andrews, Stephen M. Andrews III, Andrenisha J. Joseph DeMia and Michelle Louise Andrews; great-grandson, Stephen M. Andrews IV; and one brother, Lawrence O. Andrews and wife, Marie.
A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, December 16, 2016, at 12:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery
