JETT David Devlin, Sr., 50, died March 26, 2015. He was active in his youth in Boy Scouts Troop 4, competitive swimming at LCC & LTST, the Christ Church Choir of Men & Boys and later in restoring early 1960's Ford Mustangs. He attended Bryan Station High School, U.K. and Nashville Auto-Diesel College. He was an auto-body specialist, a gun enthusiast, and loved house boating on Cave Run Lake. He was admired for being remarkably patient when doing anything mechanical -- a master with his hands. He was predeceased by his father Charles H. Jett, III, and is survived by his wife, Karlen Collier Jett; his mother Elizabeth D. Jett; siblings M. Monroe Jett (Christine) and Ellen Louise Jett Mills; his son David D. Jett, II (Megan) and grandson Chandler; and niece and nephews Olivia, Mac and Henry Jett, IV. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Porter, Bobby Stephens, Jeff and Daryl Hester and Bill Scott, Jr. A memorial visitation will be Wednesday, April 15th, Palomar Hills Clubhouse, 4025 Palmetto Dr., Lexington, KY 40513. A family-only service follows. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to The Cathedral Domain, 800 State Hwy 1746, Irvine, KY 40336.
