Brittany Nicole Thornton, 26, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Brevard County. Brittany work for the Victory Casino Cruises in Port Canaveral.
Brittany is survived by her son Carson Fenerty, mother and step father Teresa and David Keene, father Mark Thornton, sister Amanda Rhoden, maternal grandfather Royce Barnes, aunt Sandy Harrington and uncle Keith Barnes, also many friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 pm Friday with a 5 pm service Friday at North Brevard Funeral Home.
The family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers and that donations may be made at Regions bank into the Brittany Thornton Memorial Fund care of David Keene

BREVARD COUNTY • DELESPINE, FLORIDA – Brittany Thornton, 26, of Titusville was killed in a single vehicle crash on U.S. 1 and Kings Highway on Saturday about 5:55 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol, Thorton was driving a 2005 Nissan 4-door vehicle northbound on U.S. 1, when for an unknown reason, she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and traveled off of the road, striking a mailbox and tree.
Thornton was transported to Parrish Medical Center and pronounced dead.
This crash remains under investigation.
