Linda Bernard died at the age of 54 at a Hospital in Bangor, Maine, as the result of an automobile accident. She resided in Dixmont, Maine. She was the daughter of Dorthy (Wright) Garnett and William Garnett. She was one of 10 siblings. She had attended the Baxter School for the Deaf. She was predeceased by four brothers, William Garnett Jr., Stanley Garnett, Russell Garnett, Stanley Garnett, and Keith Garnett. She was survived by: Her fiance', Peter Coppa of Dixmont, Maine, three sons, Paul Garnett of Toledo, Ohio, Ronald Valli of Dexter, Maine, and Stanley Bernard of Dixmont, Maine, plus one daughter, Rose Bernard of Sangerville, Maine. Also a brother, Clarence Garnett of Detroit, Maine, and four sisters, Mary Seaver, of Heartland, Maine, Ellma Giles of Corrina, Maine, Ella Adams of Florida, and Jennie McDougal of St. Albans, Maine, also nine grandchildren and her dog, CoCo.
