Ronald "Ron" "Ronnie" Dale Bivens Jr., 38, of Granite City passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his home. He was born September 2, 1978 in Aurora, IL. He married Melissa Mulligan October 1, 2016 in Granite City. Ron was a machinist that worked for the Pump Shop, Missouri Machine and Engineering Company. He enjoyed paint balling, golfing, camping and building.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Bivens of Granite City; mother, Debora (Nee: Benditz) Bivens of Granite City; three sons, all of Granite City; step daughters, of Granite City and step sister Sherie (Kevin) Curry of Gilbert, AZ. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Dale Bivens Sr.

The family will hold a memorial visitation from 3 p.m. until the time of services at 4 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Nameoki United Methodist Church in Granite City.
