Marie was a homemaker for most of her life and attended Gracepoint Church in Whiteland. She enjoyed working outside, gardening and mowing the grass.
Along with her parents and her husband, Marie was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Keown; siblings, Troy Burnett, Chester Burnett, Robert Burnett, Kate Cottingham, Eva Mae Cheek, Matilda Smith, Maudie Fouty, Betty Brock and infant sister, Ruth Burnett.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Keown of Mooresville; granddaughter, Polly Keown of Mooreresville; sister, Juanita (Don) Fishel of Clayton; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate the life of Marie Boles from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. The funeral service was held at the funeral chapel Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., followed by Burial in the Mooresville Cemetery.
