and was a lifelong resident of the Sulphur, Maplewood/Hollywood area. He passed away
at home on June 4, 2016 after a battle with cancer and was surrounded by family and friends
at his passing. Perry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and do taxidermy work. He was part Native American Indian and was on the rolls of the Cherokee Indians of Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his father, Perry Donald Dixon, Sr., mother, Martha N. Dixon, and a brother George A. Dixon, all of the Sulphur area.
He is survived by his brother, Samuel (Sammy) Dixon, his oldest nephew, Chris(Bull) Dixon to whom Perry was more to than an uncle, he was also a father figure and mentor. There are many nieces and nephews, along with close friends and relatives who were also very near and dear to his heart.
