Greenwood SC - Kevin Amaker Hawkins, 62, resident of 138 Hunters Village Dr., husband Janice Eakin Hawkins, died December 12, 2016 at his home in Hunter's Creek. Born in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, France, February 13, 1954, he was a son of the late Ernest Baker and Lois Ouzts Hawkins. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1978 graduate of Clemson University. Kevin retired in 2009 from Santee Cooper as an electrical engineer. Kevin and Jan moved from Greenwood to Moncks Corner in 1978. They returned to Greenwood and have made their home here since 2013. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a daughter, Carrie (Warren) Turner of Greenwood and a son, Ian (Alison) Hawkins of Ft. Mill; two grandsons, Micah and Luke Turner of Greenwood; a brother, Noel (Dot) Hawkins of Leicester NC and a sister, Penny (Bruce) Russo of Greenwood. Burial in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
