ANDREW KAY JACOBSEN, 65, of Benton City, WA, passed March 1, 2016, following a brief battle with lung cancer.

Andy was born June 28th, 1950, in Beach, ND to Kenneth and Marie Jacobsen. Andy grew up in Marsh and Glendive, MT.

He served in the Navy 1968-1974.

Relocated to Tri-Cities, WA where he married Barbara Putnam in August 1972. They had 3 children during their 17 year marriage.

Andy is survived by their daughter Stacy (Josh) Carter, grandsons Shad Ringo, Hunter Carter, and Brennan Carter, West Richland, WA; Son, Andrew Jacobsen, Benton City, WA; Daughter, Christina (Russell) Brasher, grandson Eilef Wolleat, Finley, WA; Siblings Bob Jacobsen, Gerald Jacobsen, Lorraine Harbor, Kathy Carr, Gayle Cooksey, and many loving cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother Billy Jacobsen, and grandson Russell Brasher.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be held April 2nd, 2016, located at Desert Lawn Cemetery on 10th and Union St., Kennewick, WA.

A Celebration of Life Potluck immediately following, directions to be given at service.
