Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Barbara was born May 21, 1926, in Kansas City, Kansas to Herschel and Gladys (Hamilton) Spears. She was an active member of Rebekah for 25 years, Eastern Star for 50 years and White Church Christian Church for 25 years. She retired from Osteopathic Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri after 35 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, C. E. McKee who passed away in 1989. Barbara is survived by her children; Vicki Boatman, Liberty, Missouri and Charles (Sue) McKee, Kansas City, Missouri.
