FROST 17 Jul 1895 Mr Meshack Frost died at his home "Quiet Dale" yesterday near Rawlings in the 69th year after several weeks of illness. He was the 5th son of Meshack Frost, founder of Frostburg where he was born. His wife and the following children survive: Mrs John McNeill of Moorefield WV; Mrs D A Porter; Messers Harry, Joseph, Meshack and Miss Carrie of Rawlings. Funeral from the home tomorrow with burial in Rose Hill.He was a son of the 1812 Founders of Frostburg, Meshach (1787-1863) and Catherine (1792-1876) Frost. Meshach A. Frost served as an Allegany County Commissioner from 1879 to 1881. He died at his farm which was located along the Potomac River near Cumberland. [Albert L.
