T. Faye Penrod died Sunday in Williamsburg Village after a long illness.
Mrs. Penrod, who was born in Muncie, attended Blaine School and graduated from Muncie High School. She was a lifelong resident of Muncie.
She was the owner and operator of Floyd Penrod and Sons Tool and Engineering Co. Inc. and had worked at Ball Brothers (now Ball Corp.) for several years. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue K. Kennedy, Muncie; a son, Thomas Penrod (wife: Sally), Muncie; two sisters, Evelyn (Doodle) Cartwright, Muncie, and Lois (Peddie) Garrett, St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Katherine Penrod and Nancy Penrod, both of Muncie; a brother-in-law, Floyd D. Penrod Jr. (wife: Ruth), Muncie, and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Joy E. Penrod, is deceased.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in High Street United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling will be an hour before services at the church. Meeks Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
