"In June, 1916, he married Amanda Ripley, who survives, along with three sons, Floyd of Freeport R. D. 3, Dean of Tippecanoe R. D. 2, and Heywood of Freeport; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Carpenter of West Lafayette R. D. and Mrs. Orval Plotts of Tippecanoe R. D.; 10 grandchildren; one half-brother Frank of Chillicothe and three half sisters, Mrs. Jennie Schydel of Newark, Mrs. Irene West of Canton and Mrs. Florence Telaroli of Stillwater. One grandchild is deceased.
"Rev. Roy Farmer and Rev. James Spencer will conduct last rites Friday at 2 p.m. at McCoy's Funeral Home here. Burial will be made in Freeport Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m."
