Effie M. Archer, age 88 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2016 in a local hospital. Mrs. Archer was born in Lewisville, Arkansas on February 20, 1928 to Grady and Annie Everett McKamie.
She worked for the Shan House and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Spring Hill.
Mrs. Archer was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Her hobbies included reading and working cross word puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hoitt Archer, her two brothers; Clifton Franklin and Cody T. Franklin and one son-in-law, Larry Walden.
Survivors include: two sons, her daughter, her three sisters-in-law, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.
Funeral service, 10:00am on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Burial will be in Central Cemetery.
