Troy was born September 13, 1987 in Anchorage, Alaska to proud parents, Tammy Lynn West and Tyrone West, Sr. Our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away January 6, 2007 at the age of 19 years. As a child, Troy was baptized at First Baptist Church, Bridgeport, MI. He spent the majority of his life in Saginaw, MI.

Later in life, he became a member of New Morning Star under the leadership of Pastor Johnny Goodman. He attended Webber Middle School and Saginaw High School where he fell in love with football and basketball. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Troy leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Tammy Lynn West of Saginaw, MI; father, Tyrone Daniel West, Sr. of Saginaw, MI; sister, Tinisha Lashaun West; brother, Tyrone Daniel II (Andria) West; nephews, Ricky DeMonte Davis and Tyrone Daniel West III; aunts, Janis (Willie) Cook, Anita (Theodore) Johnson, Cynthia (Robert) Bell, Joyce, Diane, and Yvonne West, Eddie Mae Smith, Dorothy (Jimmy) Jones, Shirley Jones; uncles, Bruce (Bertha) Walker III, Dwayne Walker, Brian Franklin, Larry (Joann) West, Anthony (Terri) West, Eddie (Beatrice) West; a host of great-aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Nastasia Thomas, Quinten Philips, DeMarlon Thomas, Deshaun Roberson, D'Laurence Macall, Antwan Shirveres and Huey Wright II .

Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lottie and Eddie West, Sr., Dorothy Buford, uncle, Roy West, Sr. and cousins, Steven Johnson, Jovon and Javon Patterson.
