Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday December 15, 2016 at Kernersville Moravian Church, where she was a member, with Pastor John Rights officiating. Interment will follow in God’s Acre at the church.
A native of Forsyth County, Julia was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Westmoreland and William Walter “Bill” Sell. She was a member of East Forsyth High School Class of ’66, and a graduate of Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina. She was a CPA with Breslow, Starling, Frost, Warner, Boger & Hiatt, CPA’s.
Julia served her church on the Christmas Stocking Committee as well as the Outreach Program. She was a Board member of The Shepherd’s Center of Kernersville.
Survivors include her husband Duane Long of the home; son Monte Long and Laura of Lewisville; granddaughters Mercer Long, Lucy Long, and Phoebe Long; brothers Robert Sell and Carolyn, and Henry Sell and Nancy; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday evening at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
