Spc. Ryan Berg of Sabine Pass, Tx., was recently married with a baby on the way. He was a 2005 Sabine Pass High School graduate and enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly after. He recently married and had been home for the holidays. Ryan joined the military on his 18th birthday in July 2005 and was scheduled to complete his tour of duty in the fall of 2008. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfather, James R. Berg, his great grandparents, Olive Ray Vandorn and Bernadine Saunders and his cousin, Michael Berg. He was 19.
