Verna was born April 11, 1956 in Waterloo, daughter of Verne and Shirley Metcalf Wagner, and graduated from Tripoli High School.
She married Mike Adams on April 7, 2006.
Verna worked as an environmental services assistant in housekeeping at the Red Fox Inn, ManorCare, Holiday Inn and the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; father, Verne Wagner of Janesville; brother, Al Wagner of Philadelphia, Tennessee; brother, David Wagner of Janesville; and a special friend, Linda Ahrenholz of Janesville.
Verna is preceded by her mother and three brothers: Harlan, Robert and Steven Wagner.
