Nancy held a B.S. degree and worked as a specialist with Jackson County MRDD for many years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and arts and crafts of all kinds. She was a strong spirited woman who in spite of life's challenges did her best to take care of her family, especially her twins, Andrew and Ronnie.
She is survived by her family: sons, Robert (Tonya) Lorenzen, and Ronnie (Fiancé Katie Murray) French; daughters, Shirley (Floyd) Westfall, Cheryl Jenkins, and Trixy French; 10 grandkids; 12 great grandkids (and two on the way); sisters, Wanda (Brad) Rossi, and Vida Roy; lifelong friend, Monica Growden; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Andrew French; two grandsons, Steven and William Clarkson; brothers, Robert and Larry Roy; as well as a son-in-law, Doug Jenkins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016. from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., in the chapel of R.M. WILLIAMS FUNERAL SERVICE, 120 W. Broadway St., where a funeral service celebrating Nancy's life will follow commencing at 2 p.m.. Pastor Michael Jadrnicek will officiate. Burial will follow in CM Cemetery, Oak Hill.
