Helena Elizabeth Kindle, daughter of George Jefferson and Annie Elizabeth (Hemmen) Langley, was born on September 17, 1931 in Catoosa, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 85 years.

She owned and operated Kindle Grocery in the Strickler, Arkansas area for many years with her husband. They were well known and liked in their community.

Helena was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed every minute spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Enoch Oscar Kindle, son: James Jefferson "Jeff" Kindle, her daughter: Bonnie Sue (Kindle) Dersam, two brothers as infants: Gideon Langley, Cecil Jefferson Langley, sister-in-law: Carol Langley and sons-in-law: Steven Robert "Steve" Dersam, Alan J.Harmon and brother-in-law: William Oliver "Bill" Humphrey.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Roy Eugene "Gene" Kindle of West Fork, Ark. and Sandford "Lee" Kindle and wife Lavana of Camden, Ark., nine grandchildren: Tara Kindle Walker and husband Matthew of North Little Rock, Ark., Tiffany Kindle Harris and husband Russ of Springdale, Ark., Robert Dersam of Westville, Okla., Trini Kindle Harmon of Lincoln, Ark., Terrill Dersam and wife Marinda of Westville, Jared Kindle and wife Julie of Springdale, Jason Dersam and wife Crystal of Grove, Okla., Leah (Kindle) Kirksey and husband Jerry of Camden, Laren (Kindle) Edwards and husband Aaron of Lebanon, Tenn., two brothers: Sampson Theodore "Sam" Langley and wife Katie of Westville, Daniel Eugene Langley of Hardin, MT, three sisters: Georgia Wanita Humphrey of Hardin, MT, Donna Mae Hopping and husband Clyde of Roland, Okla., Sharon Kay Terry and husband Tim of Savoy, Texas and 17 great-grandchildren. Helena is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at New Sulphur Church, Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Glenn Faulkner officiating. Graveside services and
