Mrs. Ellis was a loving and giving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, a faithful friend, and an astute businesswoman.
She was preceded in death by her former husband and the father of her children, J. B. Weston; her husbands, Robert Brooks of New Orleans and Hughlon Ellis of Lena, MS; her parents, Samuel and Effie Crawford; one brother, Col. Troy Crawford; three sisters, Zula Williams, Ollie Sharbono, and Ovie Hannah; a granddaughter, Stephanie Anne Weston; and a grandson, Baby Boy Weston.
She was survived by two daughters, Mildred Miles and husband Chester, and Mickie Higgins and husband Ray, all of Berryville, AR; four sons, Don Weston and wife Mary of Hurley, MS, John Weston and wife Beverly of Hot Springs Village, AR, Michael Weston and wife Debbie of Beaumont, TX, and Jay Weston and wife Debbie of Pace, FL; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
