JACKIE RONALD BOSIN

Jackie Ronald Bosin, 67, Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away on December 7th, 2016. He was born on March 2, 1949 to Jack Wesley Bosin and Christa Mae Hovakah Wolf at Lawton, Oklahoma. Jack graduated from Hobart High School in May 1968, he played football, as a linebacker under the direction of Coach Phil Dalke, he also ran track for the Hobart Bearcats. Jack Ronnie played with the Hobart Bearcats when they made their first state championship in Football. After twenty years he was honored by Hobart ALL Twenty-five years football team. To return and reclaim his Jersey no. 62. Every year he tries to follow Hobart in their games and has faith that Hobart makes state champion. He is a proud Bearcat, after completing high school Jack Ronnie later went to the U.S.M.C where he was Vietnam Veteran he served 2 years in the Marines and returned home and went to Haskell Indian Jr. College, Lawrence, Kansas then shortly after attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Weatherford, Oklahoma, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Leadership. Jackie met Sandra "Sis" Butler Bosin at Wheeler Park in Oklahoma City and they were married March 6, 1982. He worked for the Oklahoma City Public schools for 5 years with the handicap children then furthered his education at the University of Central Oklahoma at Edmond, and received his teaching Certificate in Physical Education and Health Minor History. He is a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and Black Leggins- Ton-Kon-gah, a Kiowa Veterans Organization, Native American Marine Corp Organization, Southwest Vietnam Veterans and the Kiowa Gourd Clan. Descendent of Red Tipi, Hovakah and Tanedoah. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a Recreation Specialist for 13 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Sandra "Sis" Butler Bosin, 3 Brothers: John Lee Bosin, Wayburn Bosin, Jimmy Bosin, maternal grandparents William Hovakah Wolf and Sophia Mamie Tsoodle
