SAMANTHA IRENE WILLIAMS, age 18 of Alto, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 08, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Stephens County, Georgia on March 05, 1998, Samantha had a very happy, energetic spirit. Affectionately known as “Aunt Sammie” & “Mesha”, Samantha loved children, helping others, and was a high school student at the Mountain Education Center.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, V.G. “Glen” Pope, Jr. & Irene Cobble Pope.

Survivors include her father & stepmother, Derrick & Amanda F. Williams of Alto, GA; mother & stepfather, Laura & Terry Allen of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers, Lee Williams of Westminster, SC, Joseph Elliott (Kat Conley) of Blue Ridge, GA, Colt Williams of Alto, GA; sisters, Jessica Elliott (Andrew) of Blue Ridge, GA, Kim Williams of Hartwell, GA, Jessica Tyler (Matthew) of Alto; grandparents, Judy & Reggie Williams of Cornelia, GA, Mary Kelley of Seneca, SC; nieces, Kaylon Elliott, Summer Snow, Athena Mozelle Tyler, nephew, Michael Tyler; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, & friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Benfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
