Douglas Ray Hart son of the late Billie Nettles hart and Arnold Hart was born at Jerseyville, Illinois, on June 11, 1957. He departed this life at his residence in Ellington, Missouri, on December 8, 2016, at the age of 59.
On April 6, 2012 Doug was united in marriage to Dawn Summers. Doug was a member of the River of Life Church in Ellington, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, driving country roads, watching deer, sharpening knives and watching old westerns. Doug’s greatest joy was the time he got to spend with his grandchildren.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roger Hart, three sisters, Sharon Conway, Judy May and Jackie Norman.
Doug is survived by his wife Dawn Hart of Ellington, Missouri, two daughters, Christina Collier and husband Josh of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Melissa Rachels and companion Randy Wilkins of Salem, Missouri, two step-sons, Dylan Foster and companion Danielle Cowan of Centerville, Missouri, Jim Boyer of Ellington, Missouri, two step-daughters, April Bailey and husband Leroy of Ellington, Missouri, Kaylynn Bryant and husband Jason of Ellington, Missouri, eight grandchildren, Jesse, Audrey, Isaiah, Tyler, Eli, Delyla, Ethan and Haven, one grandchild on the way, one brother, Robin Hart and wife Sherry of Bunker, Missouri. Doug will be deeply missed by his family and many friends who will mourn his passing.
