Don W. Peterson, born March 16, 1941, passed away on December 5, 2016.

Don was a "true renaissance man." He was an electrician by trade, he was also a welder, gardener, painter, artist, and mechanic. He loved animals and they loved him.

He was the ultimate cook. He helped everyone freely and willingly passed along his knowledge and skills. His recipes will be used and appreciated by the family.

Don has three children: Don Jr., Jill, and Chris. He met and married the love of his life, Jan. He loved and helped raise her children, Mindy, John (Michelyn), Danyel (Jon), Casey (Angel), and Cody (Sarah). He adored their granddaughters, Taylor and Shayne. He had many health problems in the later years of his life. Don is survived by his brother, Lloyd (Marge).

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South). A private family visitation will take place at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary at 1:30 p.m. A gathering in his honor will be held at a later date.
