LOGAN - Marinus Balling, 71, died Wednesday in a Salt Lake City hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1888 in Denmark to Peter and Simonina Simmonson Balling. Came here as child, spent early life in Logan, spent most of life in military service. Survivors: sister, Mrs. I. H. (Anna) Sewell, Salt Lake City, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday 12 noon at Hall Mortuary Chapel where friends call Friday prior. Burial family plot, Logan City Cemetery, with military honors by American Legion.
