Vada Zoe Bartlett, 95 of Rockdale, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016, in Splendora, Texas. Funeral services will December 10, 2016 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with burial following at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Zoe was born October 28, 1921, in Minerva, Texas. She married Rex Bruce Bartlett on September 28, 1941 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Zoe worked for years at Piggly Wiggly in Rockdale in the Meat Department as well as helped her husband Rex on the ranch. She loved to crochet and spend time with her family. Zoe was a member of First Baptist Church in Rockdale.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rex Bruce Bartlett; and daughter, Patricia Zoe Bartlett.
Zoe is survived by her daughter, Nedra, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a brother.
