Serivces were held today at 2pm in Delta Funeral Chapel for Mrs Sallie E Johnson, who died at her home in East Prairie Saturday at 2pm after an illness of almost 10 years. Burial was in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
She was Born Dec 15, 1879 in Shirley, AR, daughter of Mr and Mrs Sam Hensley. She married in 1901 to George Washington Johnson, who died in 1953.
Survivors are on son, Harvey Johnson of California, four daughters, Mrs Roy Freeman of Indiana, Mrs Bill Alsup of East Prairie, and Mrs Bernie Sims of Anninston, and Mrs George Alsup of Bridgeton: two sisters, Mrs Pearly Bradford and Mrs Ida Johnson, both of Shirley , AR: 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
