Joshua Alan Cedartree, 37, Bowlegs, Oklahoma resident, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Joshua was born February 2, 1979 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Cornelius Gene Cedartree Sr. and Phyllis Yvonne Harjo.

Joshua was a member of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribe. He enjoyed watching OSU football games, especially when they were bedlam games, he loved music ,fishing, he enjoyed being with his family, taking care of his step grandson, and watching his favorite TV shows, “ The Price is Right” and “ The Jerry Springer Show”.

Joshua is survived by his mother, of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, his companion Laquita Fish of Wewoka, Oklahoma, three brothers Cornelius Cedartree Jr. of Bowlegs, Chebon & Augusta Cedartree of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Waylon Cully of Bowlegs, two sisters Ashley Harrison of Seminole, Oklahoma, Delilah Harrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his uncles Darrin Harjo of Lawton, Oklahoma and Raymond Harjo of Prague, Oklahoma, his special aunt Sharon Thomas and Yolanda Harrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Linda Harrison of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and he cherished little buddy,Grayson Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his father Cornelius Cedartree Sr., his uncle Curtis Harjo, his grandmother, Mary Jane Harjo and his aunt Debra Emarthle and a brother Keith Dale Cedartree.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church Southwest of Wewoka, Oklahoma with Houston Tiger and Jimpsey Harjo officiating, he will be buried at the Harjo Family Cemetery in Bowlegs, Oklahoma.
