Clayton Tony Rigney, age 74, of Chatham, went home to the Lord on December 09, 2016 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 18, 1942, in Franklin County, to James Walter Rigney and Inez Rigney.
Mr. Rigney worked as a Farmer until retirement and was a member of North Danville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his brothers, Saford Rigney, Jerry Rigney, Laynard Rigney and Addison Rigney; sisters, Arlene Rigney, Hillie Robertson and Mary Crumpton; Step-son, Dale Rigney. He was also predeceased by his son, Mitch Rigney; sisters, Genell Wyatt, and Geneva Jones.
Memorial services will be conducted December 11, 2016 at Swicegood Funeral Home.
