She was a resident of the Fresno and Clovis, CA area for almost 70 years, but most recently lived in Turlock, CA, and Modesto, CA.
She was married to Gordon Ewing for 65 years before his death in 2001.
She was a homemaker and an artist. She started painting in the late 1950s, and painted almost every day until the day she went into hospice.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Van Mater-Brown of Waterford, CA, and Dr. Ellen Ewing of Reno, NV.
She has 3 grandchildren;
4 great-grandchildren; and
7 great-great grandchildren.
There will be a Graveside Service at the Clovis Cemetery, 305 N. Villa, Clovis, CA, on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 10:00 a.m.
