WYTHEVILLE, Va. Gary R. Stanley, age 56, passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2016. Gary was a life time member of the Glade Spring Fire Department, an avid golfer and a Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Ina Mae Stanley; and a brother John F. Stanley. He is survived by his wife, Erika Arnold Stanley; two daughters, Jessica Kesler and husband, Tom and Misty Jones and husband, Dusty; three sisters, Nellie Price and husband, Denny, Betty Jean Copper, and Carrie Trent; five brothers, Elmer Stanley and wife, Linda, Larry Stanley and wife, Sue, Charles Stanley, Paul Stanley, and Billy Stanley; four grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Charizma, and Dawsyn Jones; mother-in-law, Brigitte Springer and husband, Godfried; God daughter, Donna Keen; sisters-in-law, Petra and Gary Akers, Connie and Roger Leonard, Tina Lawson, and Donna Gravely; brother-in-law, Jerry Ayotte and Shelia; special friends, Darrell McGrady and Tony Akers; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday December 10, 2016, at Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Baptist Cemetery in Glade Spring.
