In 1870 after the passing of their father, the Census recorded 6 July, the Cochran(e) children were living in the same house, Agnes 16: Wm. (32), Fergus (30), Alice (24), Helen (22) Elizabeth (20), Lola (14) and Margaret (18). Interesting all recorded as 'at Home' except for Alice 'Keeping House.'
The 1880 Census in New York City taken 3 June, recorded Elizabeth (Head, 33), Helen Cochran (sister, 31), Agnes (26), Laura Cochran (sister, 25) and three servants living on East Thirty-Fifth Street.
Agnes never married nor her older sister Elizabeth, they lived together in Manhattan from 1880-1920. Their nephew Charles C. Hayne was living with them for the 1910 Census. By the 1930 Census recorded 17 April, they were living in New Canaan on St. John Place, Elizabeth (83) Head of household, Agnes (76) with Isabella Hayne (83) her sons Charles C. Hayne (58), George O. Hayne (55) and one servant.
Twins Elizabeth Cochran and Isabella Cochran Hayne, as well as Agnes Cochran are at rest in Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan, Connecticut in the Hayne Family plot.
