Joyce L. Frazier, 82, resident of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of rural New Enterprise passed away Thursday morning at the home.
She was born in Claysburg, daughter of the late Isaac and Mary Alice (Dively) Sollenberger.
On November 28, 1952 she married Dorland E. Frazier in New Enterprise. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2012.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra Peterson (husband, Chris) of East Lansing, Mich; 3 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Matthew; and 3 brothers: Earl Black, Howard I. Sollenberger and Joseph F. Sollenberger.
Joyce was a 1952 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School and a longtime member of New Enterprise Church of the Brethren where she taught Sunday school for many years.
She was primarily a homemaker who enjoyed playing pinochle and bowling in the Wednesday Morning Ladies Bowling League at Huntsman Lanes at the Morrisons Cove Memorial Park.
Friends will be received from 2-4pm, Sunday, December 11, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. A funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday, December 12, 2016 at The Bice Memorial Chapel at Homewood at Martinsburg, Reverend Jerry McCuller Jr. officiating.
Interment will be held at Holsinger Cemetery, rural Roaring Spring.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to New Enterprise Church of the Brethren, 3715 Brumbaugh Rd., New Enterprise, PA 16664.
