MISHAWAKA - Shirley Ann Cook, 83, passed away on Saturday, December 3 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.
Shirley was born on June 17, 1933 in South Bend to Virgil and Leona (Crawford) Van Dusen. She was preceded in death by her parents.
On March 31, 1952 in Fulton County she married Billy E. Cook; he preceded her in death on January 9, 1996. Surviving are her children, LeAnn Cook of Mishawaka, Lynette (Gary) Cook-Jones of Noblesville, IN; Danny Cook of Mishawaka and Jere Cook of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter, Amanda (Andy) Vetor of Carmel, IN; greatgrandchildren, Samantha and William Vetor and a sister, Bonnie Keene of Camden, SC.
Shirley was a Niles High School Graduate, Class of 1951. She worked at Osco's and Hooks.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11 from 3 to 5 p.m.; a time of remembrance will be at 4 p.m. at Penelope Apartments, 810 S. Merrifield, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
