Willard E. Kiziah, age 80 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Sunday, July 24, 2016 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born on December 8, 1935 in Lenoir, North Carolina, son of the late Troy and Ruth Lanier Kiziah, he had lived in Readington Township since 1981, having formerly lived in Hockessin, DE.

Willard was a veteran of the United States Air Force, honorably serving from 1954-1958 and then serving in the reserves until 1962. He was very proud of his military service and spent most of his time serving in Germany as a military accountant.

He returned to the United States and then worked his way up to eventually retire as the Assistant Comptroller for Beneficial Management Corp., Pepack-Gladstone, NJ after many years of loyal service.

The highlight of his life and the light of his legacy is by far meeting his wife of fifty-three years, Doris Shriver Kiziah, with whom he joined hands in marriage on December 8, 1962. Their love was a true partnership and the next highlight of Willard's life was when he became a father to Jennifer and Elizabeth.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred, and brother, Melvin.

Surviving are his devoted wife, Doris; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer Elaine Kiziah, Ph.D. and Robert Hoover of Richmond, VA and Elizabeth Ann and Robert Lodi of Uxbridge, MA; four siblings, Ethel Walker, Ruby Icenhour, Linda Holder and her husband, Dale and Jerry Kiziah; a sister-in-law, Ann Howes and her husband, John; and several extended family members and friends.
