Ricky loved music, singing and playing guitar, banjo, or harmonica (he was self-taught), and also fishing. He was a great cook at home, and excelled at grilling for family cook-outs. He enjoyed reading the bible and sharing what he learned. Ricky was never afraid to speak his mind, and no matter what life threw at him, he was always determined to overcome any obstacle. His motto was,"Grab a backpack, life's a never know until you try."
