Vicki Lynette Parker was born on August 3, 1961 in Bakersfield, CA, and passed away on December 1, 2016 in Bakersfield, CA. She was the second child of three brothers and one sister. Vicki Parker accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She truly loved to praise the Lord and was a very active member in the church. Vicki loved her husband, whom she was married to for nearly 30 years and their four beautiful children. Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Victor Browden.

Vicki leaves to cherish her home going, her mother, Shirley Jean Browden, husband, Ivory Dennis Parker Sr.; four children: LaQuida Ann Wafford, Jaleesa Lynette Parker, Courtney Marie Parker, Ivory Dennis Parker Jr., and step daughter Taquisha Parker; two grandchildren, Jaylen Reece Nichols and Cameron Woolfolke (step grandson); three brothers, her only sister, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, loving relatives, and close friends who will miss her deeply. We love you so much Vicki and you are a true blessing to all who knew you and it is our hope to reunite with you and your beautiful smile in heaven.

Home going for Vicki Parker; we will be having her wake on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 2pm-6pm at Jesse E. Cooley Funeral Home (1100 Chester Ave.) Funeral service is at 9:00 a.m. on December 9, 2016 at Trinity Chapel, COGIC (1028 O Street); a burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Southwest (2739 Panama Ln).
