Lionel D. Davis 78 of Abilene passed away Monday December 5, 2016 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday December 12, 2016 at 2:00pm at Cross Way Baptist Church located at 3849 High Meadows Drive.

Lionel was born July 14, 1938 in Winters TX to the parents of Leon and Pearl Davis. Lionel received his primary education from Winters Schools. Lionel worked as a truck driver for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, and fishing.

Lionel was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Lossie Mae, Thelma Lee, and Jessie Mae.

Left to cherish his memories are nephew Jerry Jackson and wife Trisha of Winters TX, 3 Brother-in-laws; George Battle, Walter Battle, and Johnny Lee Jackson, ex-wife Earlene Davis, great nephew Zachary Jackson and wife Cristine of Winters, great great nieces, Sabree, Hannah, great-great nephews Sema’Jae, and Micah.
