Laura "Lucille" Craig, 86, of Cutler, passed away at 8:10 A.M. Friday, August 29, 2008, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL.
She was born April 23, 1922 in Pinckneyville, Illinois the daughter of Tom W. Davis and Ella (Freeman) Davis.
Laura married Loren Craig on April 21, 1947 in Murphysboro, Illinois. He passed away on November 8, 2002. She was a member of Loyalty Missionary Baptist Church of Eden, IL.
Mrs. Craig is survived by 2 sons, 4 Daughters, Nineteen grandchildren, host of great grandchildren; one brother, two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Tom Foster will be officiating. Burial will be at Cutler Cemetery. Vistation will be on Sunday, August 31, 2008 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Loyalty Missionary Baptist Church.
