Gene peacefully left us to reunite with his beloved Jeannie, parents, William and LaRue Cowley Stevens; and sister, Marie.
Dad served in the LDS Southern States Mission and with the U.S. Army in Korea. In 1954, he married Eva Jean Lohrenz in the Cardston, Alberta Temple.
He is survived by a sister, Carol Ann Bolan; three daughters, Jill Stark (Randy), Heidi Sorenson (Rex), and Melissa Kros (Gregory); twelve grandkids, fourteen great-grandkids, and two great-great-grandkids, who admired his hard work ethic.
We thank Spring Creek Care Center and Hearts for Hospice for their loving care in Dad's last days.
A graveside service will be held in his honor at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Atonement Memory Wall in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South).
