Viola B. "Oly" Hoffman,78, of Wagner St., Lehighton, passed away Thursday, May 29, at Gnaden Huetten Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the widow of Arthur R. Hoffman, who died Aug. 8, 2004.
Born in Andreas, she was a daughter of hte late Charles A. and Beulah R. (Breiner) Guldner.
She owned and operated Art's Place Inc. of Lehighton.
She had worked at the former Franklin Fashions and Indigo Jeans, both of Lehighton.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company.
She loved to play cards and bingo.
She was of the protestant faith.
She is survived by three sons, Barry Hoffman and fiancee Roxanne Stroup of Lehighton, Kevin Hoffman and companion Brenda Scopa of Lehighton, and Ricky Hoffman and wife Mary of Jim Thorpe; two sisters, Savilla Kline of Weatherly and Eleanor Frable of Lehighton; a brother, Ernest Guldner and wife Jean of Bowmanstown, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by brothers Nevin and William Guldner, and sisters Stella Kunkle and Alverta Hamm.
Services: Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mayes-Melber Funeral Home, 200 Franklin St., Weissport. Viewing will be 9-11 a.m. Interment in Ben Salem Cemetery, East Penn Township.
